Purchased 2 SEIKI TV's thru KMart in Jan 2012....1 is still working the other quit in Oct 2012. Warranty states it's covered for 1 year....don't call store call....SEIKI customer service.

I did, got a case # and sent the TV back for replacement...(I paid shipping)...1st of Nov 2012. Nov 18th or so I called, they couldn't tell me anything, said to call back they would email the factory...called again in Nov, twice in Dec....and FINALLY got a "supervisor" on the phone the 3rd call who said they didn't show I even sent it back..!!!!!!!!!!..I gave them the UPS tracking # and they " miraculous " found my TV...but STILL told me they couldn't tell me anything.....cause they can't call the factory....only email and wait for return email.....So here we are Jan 14th 2013 and STILL N-O-T-H-I-N-G. . .

. . ! !

! ! So I have started with the Better Business Bureau, the state Attorney Generals office, KMart Corprate, and pissedcustomer.com.

My next move is suing for fraud, theft and misrepresentation of a stated warranty.....all felonies in NC....!!! SO MY ADVICE..??????...STAY AWAY from these incompetent LIERS AND THEIVES.........!!!!!!!!!!!

Monetary Loss: $300.

Agree. Customer service number puts you on hold, then disconnects.

E mailing them just gets you an automated response. Nothing else.

I bought a 40in tv from H.H. Gregg in June2014...this past saSaturday while I was watching the talc the screen went bulk and but had perfect sound...called customer service was on hold for 20 mins and asked to leave a message...I did and also sent a email to them.

It is now Wednesday only response I received was confirmation that they received my email. I called and explained the situation...they want me to ship it out...after reading all these complaints..I'm going to get it fixed or fix it myself

well I bought a seiki tv at walmart on 02/2014 then on 10/14 tv didn't work anymore. I had bought a 3 year warranty for nothing...sent it back via ups, paid $118 for freight then when tv got there it was all shattered, guess ups doesn't take very good care of their packages/ ups will reimburse me only $99 for the tv I bought.....then seiki doesn't want to send me back a refurbished tv since ups shattered the tv......never again will I buy any seiki products nor use ups......

Well mine after 1& 1/2 years screen went black perfect voice but no picture it is October25th I will call in morning, after I send an email now to see what they have to say! I will keep in touch with my trip down, "Is it going to be fix & if so when will I have it back lane"!

I only have my tv 10 months and it took a ***. The worst TV ever, thanks to Seiki and Kmart , I will not buy that brand or a tv from their store

I have the same exact issue with this company. So far I have get the same response.

That they don't have my model number in stock they even offered me 2 different model and sizes and when but nothing. I been waiting for almost 2 months I filed a claim with the BBB and nothing. That company is a big fraud stay away from it.

My next step will be a claim with the Michigan DA to see what happens.

Bought a SEIKI 46 inch tv on July 14, 2013 at the base exchange at Randolph AFB. Today, September 18, 2013, it went out.

I turned the tv on, when I turned it to channel 4.1 digital, it froze. The channel did not appear, and the tv turned off by itself!! I TRIED turning the tv off, then back on and it went to channel 4.1 and turned off again. I pulled the power cord, tried again and still same result.

I am taking the TV back to the BX and get my money back.

So did you get an upgrade as a replacement? It is always funny how people get on these forums and complain but when a company tries to right the wrong you never hear from the complaining consumer.

well your wrong on this issue my friend, i bought this tv as well came to same problems as well. I bought my tv from hh gregg and my tv didnt even have a firmware update in list of firmware smh. i just went on online to see the seikidigital business just went out of business so i stand firmly on what companies like these ppl do to good citizens who wanted quality purchases but got screw in the end

I purchased a 32" SEIKI TV from SEARS July 2012, it stopped working Dec. 2012.

After doing all I could to try to fix it since it was a problem I had never heard of, I called techsupport and they gave me the option of sending my TV back for a replacement. Sounded good and easy at the time since they answered the phone and sounded like they were very helpful. I made sure to keep my tracking number and after not hearing from them after a couple weeks I called and found out they got my TV Jan. 25 2013.

It's now Mar 5 2013 and I'm still being told that they don't know if my replacement TV has been shipped out and they will email a supervisor for an update. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT EVERY TIME I CALL. I too am to the point of suing this company.

I demanded to get my money back since I have no tv. Of course they said they would email a supervisor for an update

Regardless of whether a product is in a high end price range, medium price range to medium-low which Seiki seems to fall, or low end price range, a warranty is a promise by the seller that what it represents to the buyer is true otherwise the company has misrepresented it's product. Requesting that a consumer return their tv which happens to be the property of the consumer and then failing to make repairs or replacement as promised and keeping the tv, obviously is a breach of warranty and should be reported.

Also reputable stores which are distributing the product should also be made aware of the problems customers are encountering with the warranty.

Seiki is not a good brand to purchase from any store.Beside's you get what you pay for.Sometime's being cheap can hurt you more than spending a little bit more money and Getting a really good product.Everything that Glitter's is not Gold.

I have just read your complaint about having trouble with Seiki's warranty promise. I also bought two Seiki tv's last year at Sears.

One of the sets stopped working after a few months. I called and was told to ship the set back for a replacement. I complied with their instructions, got a tracking number from UPS and tracked it's delivery. No word from Seiki so I followed up with several phone calls only to be told there was no info in their system regarding my tv.

I was also told I would receive email regarding my case number in 48 hrs. Didn't happen. I called again and got another rep and was told that they would call me. Didn't happen either.

When I gave them my tracking information and signature verification they said they just located it "still out on the dock. This has been going on for months without being resolved. I have even been told that they were shipping a replacement and that I would be emailed a tracking number in two days. That was weeks ago and I still don't have the 32 inch set that I paid Sears for.

You can tell how good a product is by the way its company stands behind it. This type of customer service has sent up many red flags. After reading your complaint, I can see that I am not alone.

I intend pursue my rights as a consumer also if this problem isn't resolved soon.
