Turned the TV on and has a black screen. Read the trouble shoot in the manual unplugged and plugged it back in ...nothing. I called customer support. They had me do the same thing...nothing still black screen. Asked how long I had the set 13 months, and at that point support tech 06 said she was sorry but it's out of warranty, sorry I can't help you good bye. The set actually had worked fine for the short time I had it, the picture was good. I would have like to get more than a year out of it. Chinese piece of *** but what isn't? Read more

Purchased brand new Seiki TV from Brandsmart USA in July 2014. TV started showing distorted pictures in September 2014. Called Seiki 15 times and counting, have received promises of refund (no replacement on large TV). No refund forthcoming after 15 phone calls, countless emails and several promises from Seiki customer service that they would resolve the issue. I just hooked up my brand new Seiki tv and could not believe my eyes when I saw the vertical line from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. I sent an e-mail requesting a refund. I mentioned in my e-mail to that I did not want a replacement Seiki tv since I read several posts this morning from people that purchased Seiki tv's that either did not work out of the box of from people that had their Seiki stop working before the warranty had expired and when they contacted Seiki's toll free customer... I bought a SEIKI TV from KMART on 2/23/13. It stopped working 07/2013. Within the one yr. warranty I returned it to SEIKI mid September. As of 12/19/13, I am still waiting. Tried calling SEIKI, after being on hold about an hour, I was disconnected. Called again another day, after 45 mins. they said they didn't have a similar set available, so they sent my replacement order "somewhere else". So I'm in process of complaining to the BBB and CA Attorney General. Will update here if I get satisfaction. Meantime, I recommend not buying... Read more

Seiki does not honor their warranties. Last Christmas, we purchased a TV for my boyfriends mother from Tiger Direct. It was made by Seiki. The television worked until September when the picture went out. I called Seiki's customer service line and got a case number, and per their instructions, mailed the set back to them. They were to send out a replacement. It is now over a month later and although I have had promises of tracking numbers on the replacement, I have no television.
