I have owned a Seiki 55 inch HD tv for 5 months. Picture is good. I have hooked it up to speakers to enhance sound.

POS after only 1 and 1/2 years will not turn on. Red light stays on, but won't turn on, either via button on tv or remote. A few days ago, the blue light would come on, but screen stayed black and no sound. At that point, if you messed with it, I could eventually get it to turn on. Now, nothing. From what I read, sounds like a main board is out. Which is *** to me, on a tv that's not even 2 years old. *** product, *** company!!! Read more

bought the seiki 50 inch 4k in sept . after the first month the tv would randomly turn on and off at random times. contact seiki said i would have to pay the shipping to send it back which i was quoted 400$ to ship to them. I bought the tv for 500.i told them the tv was a month old , they told me it didnt matter . Screen went black after 3 months. Finally was replaced three mos later after I paid for shipping. 18 mos later replaced screen went black. It seems it is a Seiki problem 2 for 2 black screens in 2 yrs. buyer beware

I purchased the TV on Black Friday 2015. Early April 2016 the TV screen started going black but continued to play the audio. No problem - things happen. the TV is still within the one year warranty. I review the warranty on Seiki's webpage. It clearly says that if the problem can not be fixed over the phone they will try to send a technician. Seiki is not willing to send a technician out to repair the TV. The CSR asked me if I had the box... Read more

My television is suddenly acting up ... first the remote fails to work ... the only button that works is the mute and that is slow to respond. Then the TV shuts down without notice. The buttons on the side of the television do not work during this process, to change the channel or anything else. The TV will come on again, but repeats the pattern. I baought a tv in November that is failing, the screen turns green and sometimes turns black. I know it has a one year warrenty so I took it back but, when I talked to hhgreg customer service, I was told I was going to get a new unit but when I got there they wouldnt because I didnt have the box or the legs I got rid of because I hung it. bought 46" 9 months ago. Dead,broke NO Nothing.Piece of s------!!!! Still under warrienty. NO HELP FROM SEIKI. Still have the box it came in. Now I am out $300.00. was told I need the receipt. WHO keeps receipt for 9 months.I still have the box with the sticker on it that THE store put on it and signed it with date of purchase.But the store only keeps their records for 90 days.Again no help.
